As a poet, musician and composer, Evelyn was born much later than you'd think. As a consequence, the world was spared her juvenilia. However, her senilia is in full flood. As Philip Quinlan, she has published her poetry widely for 25 years, and was editor of Angle Journal of Poetry in English. She is particularly excited to be part of an all-female project.
After a lifetime working in oil and watercolour, Angela ' found' acrylic painting later in life, but remains loyal to her first love of oils. Inspired by the work of John Piper and Keiran Styles, she enjoys colour and skies.
Sophie was born in the cosmopolitan city of Brighton in 1962. Not that a lady usually gives her age away ... She likes most music from ABBA to Zappa, except for rap and hip hop and the like.
Her favourite guitar style? She loves most of them. She goes through many different mood swings. This can alter from the brooding melancholy of some of the early renaissance period to Latin American and Spanish Flamenco, and includes classical folk music.
Sophie used to play the violin as a child but switched to guitar in her teens. She started off playing electric guitar, but switched to classical guitar, where she has been ever since. She plays for her own personal satisfaction but if others like what she plays then that makes her happy too.
